I love this heated blanket! It's the perfect size for my king size bed and it has dual controllers so my husband and I can choose different heat settings. The fabric is such a soft, almost luxurious fabric, almost like a muslin blanket! The cords are extremely long and the remotes are easy and simple to use. My daughter has taken over the blanket most days because she says it's the softest blanket she's felt. She loves cuddling up in the recliner or on the couch with it on these cold winter days. I will say you can feel the wires running through the fabric, but it's not uncomfortable or distracting I didn't think.The power cords are easily removable which makes the blanket washable. I've already used that feature once (using the quick wash feature on my washer) and it was perfect! I hung the blanket to dry over a line, it still works wonderfully afterwards!

This is a review for the AEPINBH Electric Blanket King Size - Dual Control Heated Blanket King Size.This item comes vacuum packed and expands when freed from the packaging. What I like most about it is that it is actually a true comforter, with weight and thickness to it. Most electric blankets are like thin lightweight blankets strictly meant to hold the heating wires. Even when not in use, this comforter truly looks and feels like a quality comforter (the filling is polyester fiberfill). I find the filling to be more on the dense side rather than the light and fluffy side. I live in a northern climate, and the functionality of a warm comforter AND a heating element is exactly what is needed in the winter!The fabric is brushed microfiber, so it has a wonderful hand feel to it. The color of the "khaki" is a very appealing cool tan color -- think tan with a mix of grey. It's very neutral, and I'm really happy with it as I wasn't sure what to expect with "khaki". The fabric is not thick, and time will tell how well it holds up, although I wouldn't call it "thin" either.The sizing appears to be a standard King size, although it overhangs the foot of the bed more than the sides. A little more width would have been nice for coverage, but the heating elements run closer to the edge (a good thing) than some other electric blankets I've used recently.On the King size product, there are two cords and two controllers. Each has their own AC plug, so you'll need to find an outlet for each side of the comforter. There's plenty of cord, both extending from the plug to the controller, and then from the controller to the blanket. All the controls and cords are colored white. The controller is very intuitive to use, with obvious dedicated buttons for on/off, temperature setting, and timer duration. There are six temperature levels (I prefer the lower settings), and the timer increments range from 1 hour to 10 hours in one hour increments. The display readout is in bright red LEDs (might want to keep it out of sight when you're sleeping). In the photo, the protective plastic is still on the controller face - I should have removed that.I'm happy with both the comfort, functionality, and feel of this electric blanket. The dual controls will be a new feature for us that I'm sure we will appreciate. Recommended.

This Queen Sized Heated blanket comes vaccum sealed. What I really like about this heated blanket is that it has two separate controls. So one side could be hotter than the other. So if your spouse likes it warmer or colder, this will accommodate both. So it has two separate control systems. You're going to get six heating levels. This is super soft, very comfortable, and is machine washable. Great value considering you're almost getting two heated blankets in one.

My kids love electric blankets in the winter. They really like that this one has two remote so they can both control their own sides. The only reason I knocked one star is because it requires two outlets to plug it in. I would have liked to see it only have one plug. Other than that, it;s great. It's an appropriate size for a queen bed as intended, the fabric is soft and doesn't seem like it'll be too sweaty, and I really like that it's machine washable (albeit VERY delicately). I predict this to end the arguments over who gets to control the blanket heat.

She woke up happy instead of freezing, so that alone made this a winner.One thing that actually made us laugh was how our pets reacted. In the summertime they always sleep on top of the covers, but once the cold nights hit and I open the windows, our dog Elvis and our cat Priscilla refuse to come near the bed and they go sleep in the living room where it is warmer, and the windows are closed. With this heated blanket, they’re back. They curl up right at the foot of the bed again, stretched out like little royalty enjoying the warmth. That’s when we knew this thing was really doing its job. The heat settings work great, it warms up fast, and the timer definitely adds some peace of mind. The controls are simple to use, the blanket feels great against your skin, and the warmth is steady without feeling like a big heating pad underneath you. We’ve already used it multiple nights and it’s becoming one of the best winter upgrades we’ve made.For anyone dealing with cold nights or a partner who runs colder than you, this blanket is perfect. Soft, warm, easy to control, and honestly just really comfortable. So far it seems very durable and although it says you can machine wash is, we haven't done that yet, so time will tell. Overall, this product functions exactly the way it says it will and is an incredible value. Very happy with it.

This king size electric blanket is great to take the chill out of the night.Most electric blankets I have had were fleece and retained a lot of pet hair. This is a very soft fabric, designed like a solid color comforter. The timer and temperature controller are perfect for warming up at the beginning of sleeping and then shutting down to keep you from getting too warm.The only negative I could find is the size. If just fits the width of a king size bed. That means when you are under it, it pulls about a foot on each side short of the edge.

This is great! We have a comforter and a queen set, so we got this king and we have it over our thick comforter. It's nice because each side has its own temperature control. We are having a very cold and snowy winter, and it keeps us very warm! It's soft and works great! Our cats even like to sleep on it on our bed too to keep warm! It's big enough for the both of us to keep warm. We sleep better with it. Nice and cozy! This is literally a life saver!

We really like this electric blanket. The dual controls are great because some like it hot and some don't. :-)The controls are intuitive, and it's great to be able to set the time, so you don't worry that you forgot to turn it off. It is really nice on a cold night to turn it on a few minutes before getting into bed, and then getting into a bed that is already warm.I like that the blanket is made of comforter/duvet-type fabric, rather than fleece like other electric blankets I have had. It will not get "pills", and in my opinion, this fabric is a more elegant style.The washing instructions are kind of intimidating, in that they are so specific - wash at this temperature for so many minutes, rinse so many minutes, etc. I'm not sure how I can even do this with the wash machine I have. I am surprised that an electric blanket can be washed at all, and in my opinion, with so many restrictions, for me the reality is just that it cannot be washed. However, it is comforting to know that in an emergency, it can be washed. In the meantime, however, I will try to make sure it stays protected top and bottom from exposure to anything that might make me have to try to wash it.There are other precautions, too, but they are not so scary - don't tuck in the blank, don't bend the wires too much, don't get it wet, etc.Overall, I am very pleased with this electric blanket!

This electric blanket is very cozy. I like the two separately controlled sides. Of course, it's hard to make two areas under one blanket stay different temperatures, but my wife can bump her side's temperature up a little without bothering me, so it's nice.The controls are super simple, and of course you never lose the remotes.We've only used it on a couple of cold Florida nights, but I'm sure it will get plenty of use when we move up to New York in the spring. It can easily get way warmer than we could ever need here, but I can't say how warm it will feel once we get up north.

Look at the listing pic #4, the couple in what looks like a king size bed. Look at the pic I attached. What I attached is a standard king with the king blanket turned down just a little at the head. The overhang on the sides and foot are what you'll have with a king size blanket and bed. Puzzles me where all that extra overhang in the listing pic comes from. Actually the box the blanket comes in labels it as a "throw" blanket. That is a more accurate term. However the blanket measures within about an inch of the advertised measurements, so that overrides pics I suppose.That out of the way, it is a fine product. My first usage of an electric blanket. I suppose I was expecting it to be more like a huge heating pad and was initially disappointed. But after using it I realize there is no way I would ever use the highest heat setting unless the furnace was out of order on a really cold night. So it is more than sufficient heat-wise, and the timer is a great feature with a 10 hour max being more than I'd ever need. The controls are super easy to use.For bare feet, arms, from the knees down, and neck the material is comfortably soft. The 50% fleece surely contributes to that. Not sure I would trust it to a washing machine myself, but it says it can take it. I suppose the dual heat settings are standard to larger blankets, not sure, but it just would not be practical without them.There is nothing i know of lacking or that could have been done better on this product - worthy of 5 stars. The pics, well, I'm still not convinced, but they don't negatively affect the product itself.

Every freezebaby needs this heated blanket. I got the King size gray colored one. It's not the best-looking blanket, but I can get over that if it keeps me warm. I love that it's two-sided, so I can have mine at the highest setting, and my boyfriend can put his at 1 or 2 for just a little warmth. It's also great to heat up your bed about 15 minutes before you get into it, now it's warm underneath you and on top of you. It comes with two remotes that plug into a wall outlet. And the remote gives you the ability to change the heat setting from 1-6 levels and also has 10 time settings for all-night warmth. I leave it on for a few hours, and it keeps me warm all night long. It's soft and cozy to curl up with. It's great to keep on a bed, but moving this blanket can be a pain as it is big, bulky, and heavy. Overall, I love this blanket and will be using it all winter long. I'd rate it a 10 out of 10.
